The aim of the invention is to increase productivity.

The method is carried out as follows.
A piece of fabric 1 is fed by an appropriate device to the upward moving lower friction surface of platform 2. Platform 2 is made rigid, preferably made of metal, for example aluminum, the working surface of the platform being polished,

The platform 2 supported by the carriage has means for its reciprocating movement between positions I and II. The device also contains a receiving device 6 comprising two flat elements placed one above the other, one of which has a friction surface to grip the fabric, and the other is the working surface of the frame 5. The receiving device can be moved by clamps 7 mounted by means of levers 8 connected to an executive mechanism 9. The position of the clamps 7 is oriented relative to the receiving device by means of pins 10. A conveyor system 12 is mounted on the frame 11.
The device works as follows.
Initially a piece of cloth is placed on platform 7 with an appropriate fixture. In addition, on the platform 2, two pieces of fabric previously superimposed on each other can be successively arranged. After that, the platform 2 supported by the carriage moves away from position I and moves to position II by means of a pneumatic cylinder. After occupying the platform 2 with a fixed or stationary position in position II, the receiving device 6 is lowered onto the piece of fabric 1 (Fig. 3).
The friction receiving device 6 can be raised and lowered by means of two clamps 7 mounted on lever 8, both clamps 7 and lever 8 being actuated to perform a clamping unclamping movement as well as an up and down movement using a pneumatic actuator. mechanism 9 mounted on the frame 10.
